We often get asked questions regarding our scenery so have decided to record our progress as we built our next battlefield. We will cover such things as buildings, barbed wire and trenches in detail later. This is not really meant as a step by step how too guide as often mistakes are made or things don’t quite work so they get changed, but we hope you find it interesting and of some use.

Initial Planning
I always start with a rough plan. I never make this too detailed as I have a tendency to change my mind and add features as I go.
The scenario is that of a German breakthrough and calls for a board representing a British second or reserve line, this allows for some interesting features not really present in a front line trench.
